Meet Sonny
Sonny is from our Hazel & Murphy's July 2007 Litter
Return to Hazel's Testimonials Hi Joy, I am Rita, Richards Fiancée. I have to tell you that I just love Sonny... I met him when he was just a few months old and my, what a big boy he is. He is a solid dog. Big and Beautiful.
Sonny is a great dog. I still think that he has no idea just how massive he is. He is a good boy. Listens very well and plays even harder. He still thinks that he is a lap dog. And he gives great HUGS..
He is a monster in size and is loveable as a kitten and has a great passion for protection. He and I are buddies and he watches over me like an angel. He is very smart. Enjoys walks and barking at squirrels and lets the little birds eat his dog food that he doesn't want. He is also going to be a Daddy soon. Sadie, our other Doberman, is going to have her first litter in just another month or so...SO as an expecting Grandma to be, there are a lots of questions I have..I would like to chat with you sometime if we can. I just want to be ready for whatever comes my way. Everyone who meets Sonny are just blown always by his size. And when we say that he is just over a year old, their mouths just drop open. People cannot believe that he is such a massive dog that has a great disposition. He shows that he can be playful BUT be VERY CAREFUL...cause when he wants to let people know of his presents well, his bark can be felt in the chest cavity. His bark is very powerful. and his licking can be too. When I get out of the shower and use lotion, he likes to lick it off, and because his size, he often wins. I cannot get him off of me... Sonny loves to kiss and wont stop till he is ready to stop. We just love him... The kids in the nationhood love him too....
We are glad to know that someone in Rochester also has one of your dogs... He will be very happy and proud of the dog. We would love to talk to the owner.. So you may give them our phone number...so we can chat..
As far as the Vet who did Sonny's ears...well, We are not very happy with her work. Sonny's ears lay down on the top of his head...( Looks like he is wearing a hat) when he is at full alert. We had to revisit the Vet more then once concerning the ears.. She didn't set them right. She said it was due to the fact that he was growing too fast and that he was using all=2 0the calcium in his body. Richie said it is because she pined them too close together. But the Vet is in Macedon NY....We are looking for a vet now to do the ears for the Puppies... Our vet will do the tails....
Richie and I would love to met the other Lavelle Doberman here in Rochester.. Again, please have them contact us if they would like. And when we find a new Vet to do the ears we will pass on the info.. Well that is all for now We will forward some pics soon... I want to get a good shot of Sonny..... And I will send pics of the litter as well.
Thank you,
Richie and Rita
